Background: I have spent 25+ years in the marketing space, primarily in B2B industrial companies. I was recently laid off from my corporate role and I've decided to branch out on my own and build a marketing agency. You can find a link to my career background here: https://www.linkedin.com/in/curran-ethridge/

I started an LLC last year which I called double7media. (I was born in 77, hence the name) but for some reason this just doesn't inspire me as a name to expose externally. I will keep this as my LLC (it's a pain in the ass to change) but use the 'new' name under this banner as a DBA.

I want to create a business name for a marketing agency supporting the B2B industrial/home improvement/commercial buildings space.

I have one industrial client already and I am doing everything for both of them: website, social media, creative, content plan, marketing strategy and also helping her with their business plans... much more comprehensive than just marketing. I would like to eventually branch out and support a network of referral employees in local markets to feed their business but that is very much a future state goal. In short, I want to do more of the strategy and marketing is but a tactic, if that makes sense. As I grow, I will hire contract employees to support the tactical stuff but I do not plan on having FTEs unless I get large enough to require them.

Criteria:
• Name should be short and sweet. I want something that is memorable and aligned to the industrial and b2b verticals that I would be supporting.
• I feel strongly that using marketing, media or the like is a bit limiting.
• I originally wanted to include some connection to me: I live in Atlanta, born in 77, grew up in Savannah, went to UGA etc., but what I realized is that it is too focused on the past. This is a new beginning and a fresh start, so I want it to feel forward-looking, positive and have energy behind it.
• I also considered using "dragon" in some way as I was born in the year of the dragon, but that seemed hokey.
• I am drawn to words like "pop" and "hype" but wonder about the longevity of those.
• I would like it to have some tie to manufacturing, industry, mechanical, engineering, etc. The name should feel technical but in a very modern and forward looking way.

Target audience: marketing leaders, sales leaders and communications leaders in the industrial and buildings space. These tend to be very technical-focused marketers.
