New Craft Brewery opening up in Northern California. Looking for an easy to remember yet clever name. Some of my favorite brewery names include Stone, Sierra Nevada, Bear Republic, Anchor, Surly, Ninkasi, Golden Road, Faction,Samuel Adams. Some of my favorite company names include Nike, Apple, and most notably Starbucks (Starbuck was coffee loving character in Moby Dick) Would be great to have a name thats simple, easy to remember, but has a cool story or meaning to it. Our brewery will be located in Danville, Ca. It's on Railroad st. with the cross street of Prospect. Those names are not possibilities (I actually wanted Prospect, and I'm not really into the whole train theme). I prefer one word names, but are open to 2. My family was in the beer distribution business since shortly after Prohibition, so would love to find a name that pays homage to our history and/or history of beer biz if possible. Do not want anything corny like hopheads, barley boys, hoppy times, etc. This will be a brewery restaurant so it's important that the name is one that makes it easy to say if you're going there. "Let's go to ?". We have plans to eventually can/bottle/keg our beers as well, so something that would look nice on a tap handle or a can. If you walk down a beer aisle, it's easy to get overwhelmed by how many breweries are out there now so we really want a name that stands out but means something to us. Thanks so much for helping.
