I recently started my own private equity firm. Our purpose is to buy small to mid-sized companies through equity and debt, and to build them into larger and more efficient companies through mergers and the replacement of ineffective management. Some background that might help contribute to a name: I am originally from Cleveland, Ohio but the operation is located on Madison Avenue in Manhattan. We want our brand to be known as reliable, a builder -- something that people would trust with their money. A lot of the really good private equity firm names are already taken so using this website seemed like a viable option.
