We have developed a smartphone app that is a time-lapse camera that has more features than the native smartphone camera software. The main features are a database to keep the videos organized, a timer to set the recording time, the ability to record just a portion of the screen, and 129 different frame-rate settings that range between 30 frames per second to .01 frames per second (100 seconds between frames.)
