Common NamingForce terms across contests and AI Studio.
Contests
- Client — The buyer running a naming contest and selecting a winner.
- Namer — A creator who joins contests and submits name ideas (and may vote in battles when enabled).
- Contest — A structured project with a brief, timeline, and rules for submissions and selection.
- Submission — A name (and related fields) entered by a namer for a specific contest.
- Battle / voting — Head-to-head comparisons used in some contests to surface strong candidates.
- Winner — The submission the client declares as the winning entry; follow-on steps depend on contest setup and awards.
AI Studio
- Workspace — A container for one brand naming effort: brief, generations, shortlist, and linked purchases.
- Ideate — The stage where you run naming pipelines and refine candidates from your brief.
- Shortlist — The committed set of names you are seriously considering; may link to domain and logo steps.
- Primary domain — The main domain associated with your shortlist for acquisition and launch planning.
- Acquire — Domain purchase and registration checkout through the registrar integration.
- Logo directions — Exploratory logo concepts to compare before a polished deliverable.
- Guided logo — Matrix-based logo exploration with presets and optional refinement, subject to entitlements.
- Express — Delivery-oriented flow for logo kit or related fulfillment when offered in your workspace.
- Shortlist Pack — A paid unlock that expands Studio capabilities on a workspace (see AI Studio upgrades).
